God knows me

About the divine weaving process
Life of Sorek describes the divine process of weaving spirit, soul, and body together into one human being, written from a delicate and intimate perspective: that of the unborn child himself! I invite you to take a peak.
"I am defenitely in transit. Almost like I am becoming more and more focused on this body that is being made for me. Like I said before, I know for sure that I entered the human time zone; something started counting. Could it be a heartbeat? Could it be true that in my bean-like body a heart is already being formed? Is there room for such a thing? Somehow I thought I would have more time to get used to being a person, to having a beating heart. I mean, one moment I was a free spirit and the next thing you know: I exist! I have a name! God knows me as a human being!"

The Creating Process

About the 9 months in the womb
"From now on I am a part of the human time zone, I entered the human calendar! I don't know yet if that is to be considered an accomplishment, but I do know it has me all excited!"

It would be interesting if we could go back into the womb and relive our making, but that is not really what I tried to do in this book. I have simply chosen a name for the unborn child and given him the opportunity to tell his story. Reading about the life of Sorek will give the reader not just insight on fetal development but on several spiritual issues as well. I have used a surprising array of scriptures as a basis for my story. Life of Sorek will give the reader a unique chance to watch the creating process from the inside out!

Points to ponder

God wants us to value life
"I just feel deep down in me that something really important has shifted..."
Since this book is a journey, let's talk traveling. I'll give you a few more questions to trigger your thoughts: Do you travel from day to day, from year to year without expectations or the desire to start something new? Has your life's journey become a broken record which keeps repeating itself over and over again? Has the love for life left you when you summarized the number of your broken dreams?
I think it is important to think life over, every now and then. God wants us to value life. In order to understand why life is so important to God, we will have to take a closer look at the creating process. Now, that is where the real journey begins!

Picture your life

Keep on scribbling...
"I actually heard a calling, the calling of my name, and I just knew it: my time is now!"

Breath of Life starts with many questions for the reader. I purposely did that, so as to get your thoughts moving in preparation for the journey. Let's continue with a big one: Who are you? See if you can describe yourself before moving on to the next point to ponder: Have you ever tried to see yourself through the eyes of your Creator? What did He have in mind when He made you, when He got you ready to enter the world as you know it? Keep on scribbling...

Prepare for the journey

A journal for the trip
"The things I know are not considered earthly knowledge but rather heavenly wisdom"

In Breath of Life we will travel outside time into eternity. We will travel from light into darkness and back and discover great secrets along the way. Is it possible to prepare for a spiritual journey like this? I think we can. In the coming weeks I would like to give you some points to ponder before departure. Please, purchase a journal for this trip and begin to scribble your thoughts on paper. Let's start where it all begins: the sixth Commandment.

Thou shalt not kill. Who isn't familiar with the old style words of the sixth Commandment? Even people who have never been in a church or ever opened a Bible have seen or heard these famous words somewhere. Maybe they have thundered in your ears week after week while being recited from a far away pulpit, maybe you were counting the lights in the ceiling or the pictures on the walls. Sure, you're not a killer. But what are you? Are you a lover of life? Do you embrace life every morning when you get up, when you drink your tea or coffee, and when watching the world go by through the pages of the Daily News? Have you decided to live life to the fullest?
